Wedding Invitations & Paper

Has anyone used David's Bridal invites?

I'm starting to look at my options of places to get our wedding invitations from.  I like the idea that David's Bridal can match our wedding colors perfectly but I'm not sure if I'd trust them with something so important.  Any thoughts? Ideas? Experiences? Suggestions?

Thanks! :)

  • I got menu cards from David's Bridal and they were just what we were looking for.

  • Check out Party City, too.  I think Rexcraft is now owned by Carlson Craft and Party City has all the CC books and offers a 30% off discount.

We bought our invitations through David's Bridal to save the time it would take to assemble our invitations. We spent a lot on invites only to be disappointed once they arrived. I had to put a lot because if I were to disclose how much my order was, it is likely they will remove my review. The invites arrived in three different boxes. To make matters worse, the ribbon was not even tied but just cut. So, at the end of the day we could have made something just as nice at home with a lower cost. I called to see what the problem was. A lady, who was rude right off the bat, answered and sounded like she had this speech ready for whoever called. She basically told me that I could return the invites and pay to have them assembled (A very high rate per 25 invites if you call and ask about it) but assembly required is in the fine print. I went back to where she told me it was, and what do you know in very tiny light colored print it states assembly required. Though the invites look nice, it really wasn't worth the trouble.

My product arrived but not in the condition I expected it to. The invites were in multiple boxes and I now have to hand assemble 100 invites, place them in the envelope, and place addresses when the idea for paying so much was so this would be taken care of. When I called the lady on the phone was rude as soon as I stated that I was unsatisfied. Hoping this can save someone from the same mistake!
