Wedding Invitations & Paper

couple of questions

Ok I know I am probably annoying all of you asking questions constantly but I really need a lot of help lol. I know it is better to handwrite invites but I don't have the nicest handwriting. I mean it is legible but if it is not on lined paper it looks all slanted. Is it ok to ask someone else if they want to do them or is that rude and expecting too much?

Second, should we put directions on how to get to the ceremony/ reception in with the invitation. I mean very few people are coming in from out of town and the site, I think at least, is pretty well known. Or do most people these days have GPS?

Re: couple of questions

  • It is not rude to ask someone else to do your envelope addressing.  Although handwritten envelopes are preferred, very few brides do it any more.  A lot just run the envelopes through their printer usng  pretty script font, or have someone else do it for them.

    Most people have GPS.
