I don't like my wedding invitations

I ordered my wedding invitations. They are very simple which is what I was going for. I think they are alright, they are just paper in my opinion. I received them in the mail last week and I sent them to my mom. She hates them. What do I do? Is there anything I can do?

Really, everyone needs to just get over it.  In the long run the invites don't matter.

Then please feel free to post on other boards.  Frankly, to me, the invitations do matter - to my own wedding, and to others.

What about them does your mother dislike?  And when is your wedding?

I worded my post poorly and I apologize for that.  What I truly meant was it seems like the OP ordered them and liked them.  She wanted simple, she got simple.  She thinks they are all right but that they are just paper.  I took that to mean that they aren't that important to her.

If she got what she wanted I think the mother should get over it.
