Ceremony Program - thank you note

I am currently working on my Ceremony programs, and I would like to include a "thank you" note to all of our family and friends.  Does anyone have any wording suggestions or ideas.

   We would like to thank all of you for being here tocelebrate with us.  It means so much to us that we areable to share this beautiful occassion with our family and friends.  We truly appreciate all of your love and support as we begin our married life together.  We would especially like to say thank you to our parents – without you we would not be here today.  You have given us your unconditional  love and encouragement over the years, and for that we are so grateful.

 

   We also pause to remember all of our family and friends who are no longer with us.  They are here today in spirit,and are always in our hearts. “Celebrate we will, ‘cause life  is short but sweet for certain.”

Mine was really simple.  I did one for our parents and one for friends.

To Our Parents:  Thank you for all of your love, guidance, and support and for everything you have done to make today possible.

To Our Friends:  Thank you so much for being here.  Our joy would not be complete without you here to witness it.

 On this day we thank our parents, our families, and our friends for your love, support, and encouragement. You have touched us in so many ways, and we would not be who we are today if it weren’t for you. A special thanks goes to those who have traveled to be here today, and a special prayer goes to those who could not be here with us today.

First off, I'm not going to pretend that I wrote this!

It's a copy and paste from a few different sources in my searches, which of course I can't remember now. But I mish-mashed them together and came up with this. I think it's pretty much perfect, if I do say so myself.


Thank you for joining us on this special day to celebrate our new beginning as husband and wife.  The love and generosity that each of you has shown us has never been so palpable as on this day, and for that we can never thank you enough.

 

Here’s to eternity - may we spend it in as good company as this day finds us.
