Wedding Invitations & Paper

Help finding online site for invitations

I have decided to find my invitations online and Im not having any luck. I do not like the designs on vista print and 123 print is no longer making the ones I like on their site. Any one else have any recommendations. I am on a strict budget so I am trying to stay around the $100-$150 mark. I only need 100.

Thanks,

  • Honestly, I don't think you can even get 100 invitations for $100-$150 unless you make them yourself.  Even the affordable websites like davidsbridal.com and invitationsbydawn.com are going to be at least $300 or $400 for 100 invitations.

You could buy an invitation kit from Jo-Anns, Michaels, or Target and then print them yourself.  That's the least expensive option.

  • There are templates in my bio for printing your own on 8.5x11 cardstock and cutting.  They're really designed for the signature pocketfolds from www.cardsandpockets.com, but you could use without the pocketfolds.

I spent about $180 on supplies for 75 invites, programs, menu cards, and escort cards.

  • Hmmm I will just have to go with vistaprint then because they are within my budget. I was planning on doing the programs etc myself. My invites will just not match my colors :(
  • You can do your own design and upload to vistaprint.  That's how I did our STDs.  For our invites, I bought a simple dahlia graphic off etsy for $5, and am re-using it as appropriate.  Use Vistaprint if you want, but just keep in mind you can probably achieve what you want in your colors, if you just keep looking.

  • Actually, can you post a link to what you're considering from Vistaprint, what you'd like to change about it, and the colors you want?  We might be able to help you find an alternative.

  • Oh also check etsy.com!  There are a ton of great invitation makers on there and you can post an Alchemy request saying what it is you want and what your budget is, and then see what the sellers there can offer you within your budget.

  • I highly suggest you go to.... walmart! Seriously! My invites were ordered from walmart.com, I paid $20 plus $7 shipping for 50 invites and response cards with envelopes. They are made by Wilton and when you get them, there is a website to go to that has the templates for the invites and response cards. We printed ours out and sent them, and everyone thought they were professionally done. If you want to see what ours looked like, email me, babyjojo928@yahoo.com
  • Did you try theamericanwedding.com or exclusivelyweddings.com ? They both have pretty big selections at great prices. Good luck!
  • I second theamericanwedding.com

Also, go to costco's website.  When you get to the wedding section, clicking on invitations takes you to einvite.com which has lots of inexpensive options.
  • Try invitationkitsdirect.com  I got mine there, I paid 141  180 invitations with a extra envelopes.  Also, do a google search for invitationkitsdirect and coupon and you will get a coupon code for either a percentage off or free shipping.  They also are really nice and quick at responding if you have any questions about your order.
  • I've found two great sites, both which get you a 100 invites for under $150 if you search by price. www.MyGatsby.com and www.pal.einvite.com (which gets you Costco discounts without having to be a member)
  • I think it's going to be extremely hard to stay in that range, but you can try costco. They'll link you up to an actual invitation website. I ordered some samples from there and they are all pretty nice. I think the cheapest that I remember seeing was $75 per 100 invites but that doesn't always include envelopes and then you have to ordr the RSVPs as well.
