Our RD is on a Friday, the wedding on Saturday, and the brunch on Sunday. A little less than 2/3 of the wedding guests would be invited to the RD (somebody has a huge immediate family) and much fewer than 1/3 would be invited to the brunch.
Because we need numbers for the RD and the brunch, should I send out separate invitations for each of those? Or should I put a card similar to the reception card in the invite package?
I will be ordering 75 invitations and reception cards. I could order 25 brunch cards and 50 RD cards. For the response cards, I could order 25 reception only, 25 RD and reception and 25 all three events. Does this sound like a good plan, or am I making things more complicated?
My other consideration is the formality of the invitations. The wedding will have formal invitations, but the RD is the opposite of formal: outdoors, farm, cookout food, etc. Should I just order the stationary for the wedding and reception, then hit up Vista Print for the other two events?
I have to order the wedding invitations soon, so I would appreciate any help.
