Wedding Invitations & Paper

Invitations fold types

I just started looking at different invitations. There seems to be a lot of different styles out there as far as how it folds.
There are those with a pocket. Then there are the folded ones (some just half, some tri-fold). Then there are the flat ones - very simple. Plus throw in the mix of tealength vs. square vs. regular rectangle shaped.

What did you go with and why? Looks like the pockets cost more. I am also worried about the expense of sending odd shaped ones like a tealength or square. Does anyone know how much it cost to send those to guests? I couldn't find it on USPS website. Thank you!

It costs an extra 20 cents to send square or rigid envelopes, so you can just use the regular postage calculator and add that on.  This means a square 1oz is 64c, 2oz is 81c (most likely for a pocketfold), and 3oz would be 98c.
