Wedding Invitations & Paper

Vistaprint vs Zazzle

Has anyone used both services and can compare? I've ordered stuff from vistaprint and been happy with it but there's some wedding invites that I prefer on zazzle.

Re: Vistaprint vs Zazzle

  •  I think they are both equal quailty wise, vistaprint is cheaper, but zazzle has more options

  • I'm not a big fan of Vistaprint.  You get what you pay for, and Vistaprint is reeeally cheap.  Zazzle is marginally better.
  • Yeah, this isn't an area I want to put money into. I'm also having a super small wedding (needing under 20 invitations) so some places I've asked won't do such a small run or the cost per invite is higher than I'm interested in paying.

Would I be better off with a DIY kit from a craft store or print at Kinkos?

I'm still considering Vistaprint but I think now we're going to go with Kinkos. It's 23 cents to print a full color cardstock. We're doing color on the front, black and white text inside so it will be a double sided print. If you can do the layout and design yourself they will be really cheap to print.
  • and I've ordered envelopes and mailing labels from Zazzle and loved them. They ship really quickly too.
  • I did a DIY kit from Michael's and printed at Kinko's.  The printing of 48 invites and enclosures was less than $9.

Zazzle is wonderful; so is MagentStreet and Vistaprint. I've used all three for different things. We did upgrade Zazzle's stock paper to a metallic one. The invites are gorgeous plus their design tools are super easy to use. We are getting wedding programs and invites for another family event from VistaPrint and I've also used them before with great results. STD's came from MagnetStreet and were super cool. I prefer Zazzle's design tools but both are pretty user-friendly.

(I realize you didn't ask about MagnetStreet; just threw it out there because it is similar and we've had good luck with them as well.)
