My fiance and I will be moving in together after the wedding.
We are about to send out save the dates when I realized I didn't know whose name we should be putting on the return address labels.
I would prefer to use both of our names but we have some conservative friends who may get offended by the implication of us living together.
Then there was the idea to put his last name. Simply put, then the address.
What should I do?
Re: We don't live together yet - whose name on the return address?
if one of you will be moving into the other's home, i would use that address. if you are moving someone entirely different then it doesnt matter.
if you put both names people are going to just assume that you chose one address for wedding correspondance. i dont think they will think too much into it.
It's just an address, my advice is don't read too much into it. Posted by jmkes
Agree. Are you worried about the return address for the outside of the envolope or the address that's going on the reply card. I had a bunch of address lables left from my high school graduation party invites (long time ago!) with my name and parents address and they matched my invites so they went on the outer envelopes. Then I wrote out just my name on the RSVP return.I'd just make sure the RSVPs are going to whoever will be organizing the final count, etc.
I believe it should be the Bride's address on all wedding correspondence if you are not living together.
