Any good advice on where to get return address labels made? I don't have a printer to just print them myself and the last time I had any, my mom had ordered them for me through the place she got my graduation announcements.
For what it's worth, I like Vistaprint for almost everything...
But I am curious too why we shouldn't use return address labels on wedding invites? I really don't care to hand write my return address one hundred times and don't want to invest in a stamp since my name is changing.

Labels are associated with mass business mailings and junk mail. Social correspondence should not use labels, and should either be printed directly on the envelope or hand addressed.

I would say that I did not use labels on my invitations because I didn't want "efficiency" to be the impression people got when it came to my wedding. Also, labels don't seem as personalized. I printed all the addesses and return address onto the envelopes on my at home printer in a cursive font, and then handwrote the names on the inner envelope. it took extra time but looked great. Since you don't have an at home printer, I would recommend ordering a stamp or an embosser for the front of the envelope. I looked around online and paid about 15 bucks including shipping for a stamp that I used on another project.
Your wedding invitations are not about efficiency. They are about extending a personal invitation to a social event. The envelope the invitation arrives in creates the very first impression of your event, so don't start off on the wrong foot by using an avery mailing label.
Labels don't have to be 12pt Times New Roman. You can customize them as much as you can customize actually printing onto the envelope, fonts, graphics, colors, etc... I'm still not convinced that they're that big of a no-no.

There is one on Etsy that is soo cute and fancy and it doesn't include the last name! So you could always reuse it.. Just a thought. :
