I know the "outer" envelope should have the names and address handwritten and I don't intend to do otherwise. (As an FYI, I'm using a DIY kit that didn't include an "inner" envelope, so the guests that are invited are listed on the RSVP card with check boxes for accepts/regrets.)
My question is when you are handwriting the name and address, did you use cursive or did you print? I'm concerned because my cursive looks like it was done by a wobbly third grader, but I my printed handwriting is clean and easy to read, and looks fairly nice. I also have concerns about how well my less-than-stellar cursive writing will go through at the post office.
(No one on my bridal party lives in state, and I have no family members in town who have nice cursive handwriting who would be available to assist me in this project. I'm doing it all, and hiring a caligrapher is out of the question budget-wise.)
Does this matter? How did you write yours? Thanks!
Re: Addressing the Envelopes: Cursive vs Printing?
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.
Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
