Wedding Invitations & Paper

Separate and Send

Have any of you used the Separate and Send type invitation? The invitation, RSVP card, and reception card come all on one sheet and then you tear it on the perforation to separate them.  Do you think the perforation would be noticeable?

Re: Separate and Send

  • I haven't used them but just from their picture that they have I can see the leftovers from their tearing hanging on the edge. You could use them if you want but if you're picky about your edges I would get something to cut them a little cleaner.

  • I'd use a paper cutter on the edges, but that's just me.

  • You're talking about the kind where the recipient tears off the RSVP card which is mailed back as a postcard, right?  If so, the papercutter doesn't apply.

  • I had to zoom in on the link to get a closer look.  It looks like you have to separate all the parts of the invitation in order to put them in the envelope, like those laser printer business card sheets.

squirrly, I know what you're talking about - the seal and sends - but these are something I haven't seen before.
  • Yeah, not a fan of this idea, then.  Seems too much like the valentine's cards you gave your friends in elementary school.
