Children's meal

You may have seen my discussion yesterday about my invite.  I started thinking about my RSVP.  There is a children's meal option and at first I had it on my RSVP, but I wonder if it would be better not to include it and speak with the families with children about it personally (they are just our neices and nephews). 
From reading a lot of these boards, it seems like people writing in their own invites or whole families is remarkably common, so I wonder if by listing e a children's option, if that will be opening us up to having families invite the whole group.  What do you guys think??

I agree with you, you should leave kids meal choices off the RSVP and just contact those families individually.

We are inviting several families with children, so we included it on the RSVP.  There are also no families where we are not inviting the children, so I guess I'm not worried about the possibility of adding children, as they will already be invited.  If you are just inviting a small number of children, and not all children, individual communication might be the best option.
