Here are the facts:
I was previously married and go by FIVE different variations of my name among all of the people who will probably be on our wedding guest list.
Such as, some people know me as (These names are not related to my actual name at all.) Lauren Dakin (My current legal name....almost no one, except my Mom and legal documents uses that name), some people as Lauri Dakin, others as Lauri Dakin-Kirkholm, and some as Lauri Kirkholm and others as Lauren Kirkholm.
I was given the right by the court to be legally known as Lauren Kirkholm-Dakin after my divorce. I haven't gone about changing everything from Lauren Dakin YET, but my name WILL be changed legally this fall.
So, which version do I use on the engagement announcements? FI and I would like them to say Lauren Kirkholm, but that's not my actual legal name and probably will never will be unless I shelled out for a legal name change to THAT name.
