Wedding Invitations & Paper

ceremony/reception room?

Question: I am having a hotel wedding. The hotel has 4 banquet rooms. For the invite, do I list the name of the room the ceremony will take place? The invites will say "Reception to follow". Should it be "Reception immediately following ceremony"? Or something else? And again, would I list the room of the reception? Like "Reception to follow in the Starview Room"? So confusing!  While I am posting, want to proof my invite?

Ok, it's all one font, except our names. And it's all centered, and the spacing isn't bad. Just really checking the wording and punctuation. (EDIT: very weird font/size)

Re: ceremony/reception room?

  • While we're at it, for the resonse cards, would I use "the favor of reply is requested by August 31st?" do I spell the number out? Is there a different wording to use that fits better with my invite wording? Sorry for all the questions.

Since there are several different banquet rooms in the hotel, you should put the name of your room before the hotel name:

    Starlight Room
    Giorgios Banquets
    etc.

  • thank you
