STD question--location

Hi!

I'm in the process of designing my STDs and had a quick question.

I know that it is common/expected to put the city and state where the wedding will take place on the STDs.  In my case the ceremony and the reception are being held in two different cities (same day, with the reception immediately following the ceremony).  The two locations are only about 20 minutes apart, but are in different cities.

Should I indicate both on the STD?  Something along the lines of "Chesapeake, Va with reception following in Suffolk, Va"

or do I just put the city and state of the ceremony?

since they are so close, i'd go with the city/state of the ceremony since that is where you will officially get married.  maybe go into more detail on the actual invite

I'd just put down the bigger of the two, because really they need the STD to plan for travel.

That's what I did.  I chose the bigger of the two.  The one with more hotels.

Is it the Suffolk metro area? If so, I'd put that.

Put whichever will have better options for hotel and air travel.  If there are lots of hotel options, I'd actually put the reception city, since people usually prefer to stay closer to the reception so they have a shorter drive after the party.
