Pen for Addressing Envelopes

What kind of pen would you use for hand-addressing invites? It seems to me like a Sharpie would bleed and gel-ink pens are usually too fine of a point. I'll be sending my invites out during a very humid Florida summer, so I would need something weatherproof as well!

You could buy a calligraphy pen?

I used a fine point colored pen from a local art store and had no issues.

Fine tipped sharpies generally work on thicker envelopes without bleeding. It's really just the thicker ones that tend to bleed. There are also Sharpie pens as well.

My personal favorite pen is Foray brand .7MM liquid - you can find these in every single color of the rainbow at Office Depot. They're thick and write beautifully.

I'm using a calligraphy pen I got at Michael's- the brand is Sheaffer, and I got the fine point one.  I have been really pleased with it so far.

I too am using a calligraphy pen from Michael's. I believe it is made by Sharpie but I can't entirely remember.

I started with just a regular fine tip felt pen but I didn't like the result. The calligraphy pen looks much better even though I do not know how to do calligraphy itself.

Looking at the calligraphy pens, I think that's the best choice. The Sheaffer pen and Sharpie pens got good reviews on Amazon, too. Thanks for answering this rather mundane question, everyone.

I bought this calligraphy set from Michaels and practiced with each of the four nibs before I found one I like.
