NWR- Vent

I work as the graduate assistant for a director at a local univeristy. Part of my job is research, which I love to do. However, I'm readying to beat the carp out of RefWorks software. I've been trying to import about 950 articles on transplantation so I can do a lit review for the director, and I'm having a tough time. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats all.

    Annoying!  I'll vent with you!My shower is still leaking...this has been going on since October 3rd.  Obviously our handyman (who I love and is usually awesome) is not able to fix it because he has tried 3 different times.  And I've left my landlord TWO messages (last night and today) and haven't heard back from her.  Just.hire.a.plumber.  My LL is usually awesome too, WTH is going on with her?  ARGH!

    I'll vent a little for the sake of venting. Boss is preempting the pay check being screwed up by saying I've been doing something wrong for a year now. Just checked, the "thing" doesn't exsist on my end of the the deal. So we'll see. And I'm hungry leaving work in an hour for the hip doc so don't really wantto eat anything since I'm stopping at home before the doc, so I can grab something not fast foody there.

    Ugh, 950 articles, that sounds horrible! GL, I hope you can get it to work! My vent: Comcast is coming today to look at our internet/phone connection. It has been going off and on about 20 times/day for the past 2 weeks. Someone was supposed to come last Wed., but they told DH he didn't have an appt. Yes he did, he even went there and scheduled it face to face!!! I was barely online this weekend due to the sh!tty connection. I want a credit to my acct. If this isn't resolved after today I think I'm going to go to their office and take someone out!

    oooh and I just called the boss and he's in Mirtle beach on a golf course, he's too busy to talk right now cause hit was his turn to hit. He'll call me back.

    KRM- that sucks about the shower. My ll is similar. I'm hoping that while I'm in DC he can take care of some things around my house. E- I had  to LOL at the fact your boss was too busy to talk due to teeing off. Wow. Just wow. Kim- thanks for the GL wishes. I'll need them. It seems the entire library system is not working properly. Awesome. When I inquired about an estimate of when it'd be working again, I was told no clue. Guess I'll have to make my packing list for DC now. Blah for tuesday making me want to rip my hair out.

    KR, that sucks. Is it your only shower in the house? Are you still able to use it? Our landlord never fixes anything either; my DH does. Grrr...if they don't fix it by a certain date, I'd call a plumber and deduct it from the rent! I have nothing to vent about right now, but I'm sure I will soon. :)

It is our only shower - we've been taking quick showers and showering at the gym.  Klassy!She called a plumber, so I hope it will be resolved for good ASAP!  :)
