Bridal Beginnings Alterations

Hi Girls! I have my first fitting coming up in November.  I bought my dress at Bridal Beginnings and will need a hem, adjustments on the shoulder straps, and it needs to be taken in a little bit in the waist/hips.  Does anyone know if alterations are pricey at Bridal Beginnings?  Do they do a good job?  Any suggestions for getting alterations done elsewhere?  TIAMy dress it the Maggie Sottero: Amy

I haven't started the fitting fun yet, so I don't have anything to add, but I must say that dress is so very pretty!

I bought my dress from Bridal Beginning and had all of my alterations done there.  It was $90 for the hem and bustle. I had a dress with tons of layers and a long train, so I expected much worse! BB did a great job and I'd definitely recommend getting your alterations done there.

Not a wedding gown, but my mom was really pleased with her alterations on her dress from BB!  GL!

My sister got her wedding dress from BB (of course this was a few years ago) and in between ordering the dress and the first fitting she lost a ton of weight. So a lot needed taken in on the dress but BB did a great job and I don't remember her saying anything about any outrageous price issues. I also got my dress from BB: )

I bought my dress and had it altered there.  I needed a ton taken off of the bottom and had cups put in and some altering to the top.  It turned out great, I had even had a few additional alterations after the initial which they did not charge me extra for.  I think it was around $150 which did not seem to bad.

Thanks girls!  That makes me feel comfortable about getting the alterations done there.  No horror stories so that's a good sign!  :)
