Online ordering for wedding invites

Has anyone bought or known someone who ordered their wedding invitations online from sites like weddingpaperdivas or americanwedding etc.?  I like some of the designs but nervous to buy them offline.  Thanks! Angela

I ordered my wedding invitations from weddingpaperdivas.com.  I ordered sample invitations first, and would highly recommend this, as colors can often look off on a computer, and it is nice to be able to feel the paper.  Their templates were very easy to use, and when I wanted to do something that didn't fit on the template (like add a fourth entree option), I just put a note in the comments box.  After I completed the templates and ordered the invitations, I received my proofs a couple of days later.  Before sending you the proofs, they proofread for any typos.  The actual invitations arrived about a week after I approved the proofs. Another tip is to watch for promotions because if you order at the right time, you can get up to 30 percent off.  I am very happy with weddingpaperdivas, and I would recommend it to anyone.

I'm not picky about having fancy paper or printing techniques so I ordered my STD's from Vistaprint and they turned out nice.  I ordered the invites from peartreegreetings and they turned out nice as well.  You can always put in a sample order to see how they turn out before you order all of them.

I got samples from weddingpaperdivas.com, vistaprint.com and theamericanwedding.com.  I ended up ordering from theamericanwedding.com because they had a design I liked.  they are actually arriving tomorrow by fedex.  The printing is thermograph, so its "raised" lettering.  But, honestly, the samples from WPD and VP were just as nice.  I wouldn't hesitate ordering from any of those sites.  If you can find a design on vistaprint, I'd say go there. You can get GREAT deals there.

I ordered from Dawn's invitations and just received them! I did the sample thing first and liked the samples and they also sent a coupon for 25% off if I ordered within 30 days. They were a great price and I am pleased with the product.
