Invite suggestions

I am usually on my local board and the vintage board. But I thought maybe you all could help me. I have been lurking for awhile to get an idea but haven't found something perfect for me yet. Here is my invite

and my rsvp

I just cant figure out what to go from here I really want something fun style. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I do  like the pocketfold but want it a little different than the usual. TIA

Re: Invite suggestions

  • You're looking for inspiration for putting them together?  It's late and I'm confused.  :)  Point me in the right direction, and I'll happily look for ideas tomorrow while I'm at work.

  • I dont know how to put it all together and what other inserts I may need.  I like highly used pocketfold but would like to change it to make it maore fun somehow. I just dont want it packaged? the normal way.

  • Other likely inserts would be Accomodations/General Info, Directions/Map, and possibly a Reception card.

You could do a pocketfold, a petalfold, a marsupial pouch, or just an inner envelope.  You might look on http://www.cardsandpockets.com at their custom pocketfolds.  You can get them in virtually any shape/size/paper.  You could also use their custom cut printing/cutting option to do your inserts in fun shapes - deer, or whatever.

There are some scrapbooking papers that look/feel like leather or suede - what about a petalfold made from that, in a "deer" kind of color?  Or, maybe even something using birch bark?  Or paper that looks like birch bark.  OR sometimes you can get really thin wood veneer, and you could use that like cardstock as a backing layer.

Do any of those sound like the direction you want to go?

  • ooh I like the birch bark idea and wood veneer. Do you know where I can find these? I will also look at cards and pockets. Thanks
