when i think of my ideal wedding, i think of a very good day out on the town, visting all our favorite places and dressing up (in other words, JOP)
sean on the other hand wants the works, complete with kilts galore and the whole family and every friend weve ever met in our lives in attendence
im very ppl-phobic, so the thought of hundreds of ppls eyes on us and not being able to escape makes me shiver (and i shouldnt feel like i need to), so we compromised: JOP wedding, party central for reception. i see the reception for what it is: to celebrate our marriage by partying. im afraid to send invites to my family cuz my parents are divorced and the family is split, so i thought to just post a 'whoever wants to come' on FB, as to only inviteing the ppl who wont fight and hurting others feelings.
is that tacky??
