woopsy, slight delay. FI stole the comp to check his fantasy crap!weekend was fairly good actually. spent friday night in bed with FI watching tv and running out for dairy queen. it was too crappy to venture out to the smiling moose, as we had planned. saturday we went to eat and intended to go see a movie, but ended up at a tattoo shop where i walked out with a new tattoo-woops! LOVE it. today i had our invitation envelopes printed, picked up our invites from lauren and booked our RD. whew. been busy!how was everybody else's weekends?

JBean - I love your new tattoo! It's so colorful. I had a fairly uneventful weekend. Had to work just a little both days. Went out with a couple good friends last night (one was a BM) that I hadn't seen in a while. Today we went grocery shopping and now just watching the game and grading some quizzes and assignments.

Fri- just did the normal Saddle with the girls Saturday went shopping and to Benihana for sushi (YUM) w| then today went to the parentals to watch the game. What did you get a tattoo of? Im ready for another one but where I wanna get it I think I should wait til after the wedding I already have 3 visible ones.

thanks S!! i've been dying for a foot tattoo for years, and finally compromised and gave in. i always wanted a cherry blossom on the top of my foot, but since that would be sooo visible..i put stars by my toes so that it's not quite as BAM right there. i love it!cari jo what do you want to do next?? my mom is not thrilled i got my tattoo before the wedding, since it will show, but i don't consider my foot to be as visible. my dress will cover it mostly. besides...the new tattoo will look awesome with my wedding shoes!

just saw it on FB LOVE it! I wanna get angel wings on my upper back/lower neck then I want to prob get 4 stars on my back/side...I already have 2 on my forearms (4 stars on each) then on my wrist I have writing that says faith one way and trust the other.

that's what I planned on for my first one however, i chickend out and got them on my forearm instead. FI has a full sleeve and it goes to his chest. I keep telling him its his fault that I got tattoos cause I never wanted any until we got together.

lol, it is addicting. when i met FI he was the new attorney  our firm and while chatting with him i discovered we had not only the same taste in music (you don't run across punk kids very often..) but i found out he was hiding his tattoos. it was instant lust for me! he wants full sleeves, but really can't work with those, so his goal is to do sleeves to his elbows. i was going to do bpics for him for the wedding, but i'm now seriously considering asking for my deposit back and setting up an appt for him to start working on his sleeves. i wish he could have full sleeves though. i wish i could get my wrists done! stupid corporate world. *frown face*

I LOVE them. I think they are SEXY! Yea he could always do a 1/2 sleeve and they would never know. FI has partial leg and his mom's name on his neck(she passed away from breast cancer) everyone always thinks it's my name her name is carla

hi! Weekend was good. Made a nice dinner for DH on Friday, had him and our friends go out to watch the game on Sat. and today we went to my parents to have dinner with his mom and my parents because it is his and his mom's bdays today!however, i'm a terrible wife for I did not get my husband an actual gift

well DH kept saying he didn't want anything...I went looking a couple times but I just felt silly cause we share a bank account and I couldn't get past that haha. It completely ruined the gift buying process for me haha. Oh well, he didn't care. I just don't know how to do this whole married gift buy process yet?? I do feel terrible though

we share an account as well, but he never looks at it lol. But IDK if Im going to be good @ it either. Men are just hard to shop for in general! So if you come up with any good ideas let me know haha

My weekend was good.  I drove to Pittsburgh early Friday and got new tires on my car.  My brother and I went to that cocktail charity event for the Young Professionals that was at The Glass Factory in East Liberty.  It was really nice and I had a blast!  On Saturday I met with my florist and loved his new ideas for some of my flowers!  Then I went to lunch with my best friend, hung out with my family for a few hours, and drove back to Maryland.  Today I just vegged out! Jess-don't worry about the gift, it sounds like you had a great weekend together.

cari- i made my mom's super yummy bar-b-que sauce from scratch and then put some pork in the crock pot and we had pulled pork sandwhiches and then I made baked apples! It was pretty delicious!S-we just flipped to the phillies game...I'm cheering for them only because I know you want them to win..haha

Cari you should check out some of the girls' cooking blogs!  They are really good, I love to cook!  We had chicken stuffed with herbs, provolone, and breadcrumbs topped with a balsamic sauce tonight, YUM!  And of course my old favorite, linguini and clams:-)
