RSVP wording

Sorry if this was already posted, but search current board isn't working...

For the RSVP, it seems (from searching online) that the traditional wording is:

Accepts with pleasure
Declines with regret

But this sounds wierd. I think Will/Will Not Attend is too modern. Any other ideas?

PS- My head is spinning from this invites stuff, I have been at it all day, I can't believe how much I never knew/noticed about the wording and addressing, etc!!

Don't use pleasure/regret.  You don't know how people are feeling when they accept or decline the invitation.  Will and will not attend is fine.

If you don't like either one, you can just do "accepts" or "declines," without the other stuff.
