Vistaprint Upload Question

Hello everyone,

I am new to navigating Vistaprint and doing some DIY projects. I recently found a design I'd like to upload to Vistaprint for my STDs. But, I am not sure if I need to have all of the text on it before I upload or if I can add text onto the design once it's uploaded. I am going to wait to get a free upload so I want to be prepared!

TIA :) The knowledge and skill of all the ladies on this board always amazes me!

Re: Vistaprint Upload Question

  • It needs to be entirely finished before you upload it.

  • no, you do not have to have text on it - there's places to add text there. They don't have a lot of choices in fonts, so if you have a special one you like you can add text before, but you do not have to.

I've not tested this yet myself, but I was going to see which prints better. You should have no problem at all with your prints looking good if you use their template for your particular project.
  • Your font choices and color choices aren't that great - they won't likely match if you upload it and add text later.  I tried a bunch of options when I did our STDs last year, and by far the best was having a finished image before I loaded it.

  • Agreed with pp...it's best to have the entire file (including text) made and then uploaded.

For the sizing to get a better quality picture, you should size the image/whatever you're uploading 4 times larger than the actual size of the vista print product.

  • Thanks everyone so much!
