send save the dates to coworkers?

Should I send save the dates to coworkers? Maybe just some of them?  I have no problem inviting them all to the wedding. Im sure some could love to come and some would not. But i would rather include everyone then leave a few people out.

But should i send all of them save the dates? To be honest there are a few- if they they quit or i quit i would not invite. (Just being honest).  What should i do here?

Re: send save the dates to coworkers?

  • Given that they're in-town, I wouldn't send them save-the-dates. They're an easy group to cut off the guest list should money get tight, and turnover can change relationships as you noted. 8 weeks notice should be more than enough for them.

  • I am not sending my co-workers STD's.  People who still work her next July will be invited but I don't want to risk giving a save the date to someone who may not work here then, because I wouldn't invite most of them if they quit/get fired.

This, exactly. If you send a STD, you have to invite them. Who knows what will be the situation by the time your getting married. Just because someone has been working there for 15+ years doesn't mean they will be next year!<div>
</div><div>The guidance most ladies on here give is that you only have to invite coworkers if you associate with them outside of the work place. So really, you don't HAVE to invite any, but you can do whatever you want!</div>

Same thing! Alot can happen over the next few months, so I would just leave them off the list completely.  An invite is more than enough!
