Wedding Invitations & Paper

If you ordered your Save the Dates online, which website?

Hi Ladies,

I am having a really hard time finding Save the Date templates that I like. I have looked at Shutterfly and Vistaprint and nothing really impresses me.

Our wedding colors are watermelon pink and navy blue so that makes it even more difficult.

Does anyone have suggestions for a different affordable website I could use?

And I would love to make my own template but I have a crazy job that just doesn't allow the time for it, so count that out!

Thanks ladies :)

  • How about ordering a file from etsy and using it for free postcards at Vistaprint?
  • I used weddingpaperdivas.com, and got a ton of compliments!  They have a lot of really cute designs.  These are how ours turned out:

Wow, these are awesome!  You did a great job. :)

We ordered ours through VP but didn't use one of their templates.  We uploaded our own image that FI created.

  • I used a postcard template I found on Zazzle. They often have 50% off sales too.

  • Got mine from Etsy; $12 for the template and shipping.

$10 from Staples for 85 copies; $22 total not including postage.

  • Wow I didn't know you could get templates from Etsy..so do you just give photos to the seller and they create it for you? That seems super affordable!

  • We got ours from Wedding Paper Divas as well, and I rather regret it.  They were beautiful and the company is a breeze to work with, but I think we paid way too much.  I wish we would've done VistaPrint or some other site instead.

  • I had an Etsy designer sell me a digital file -- actually she made it custom for under $30, but she also has ready made ones that are less expensive I believe.

Her shop is Icing on the Paper and I highly recommend her!

  • I used Magnetstreet.com.  If you find a design you like you can change any of the colors.  I ordered my magnet save the dates and invitations from them and am really happy with what I have received.  They also have post card save the dates.  You can usually find 20% or 25% off coupons as well.

  • we used wedding paper divas for our save the dates. they were great to work with and always send out coupon codes. we got 15% off of our order, plus free shipping, and found them to be totally reasonable for the quality and service that you get.
  • We also ordered ours from Wedding Paper Divas.  I like them but I do think we paid too much for them.  I wish I would have done a little more research.  We haven't sent them out yet, but I am looking forward to the feedback.

  • We used vistaprint and designed our own images for the front and back. There are pics in my bio if you want to see.
  • I have yet to order mine, but from what I have found so far, 123print.com has a huge selection with free shipping, but most of the templates are for one photo, so if you want to include more than one photo, I would count them out. So far, I think my favorite site is minted.com.

  • I did MagnetStreet.com as well. I love them! And I picked them mostly because I could customize any of their designs to match our colors, including creating my own color. We did the classic magnets with our e-pic on them.

  • I used a giftfulheart.com and loved them.
