I made that pumpkin butter that you posted last week.  OMG - it was sooo good! I used it in that pumpkin latte and spread it on a cinnamon butternut squash muffin - DELISH!!I also canned some apple butter.  You're right - it was so easy to do. Now I'm on the lookout for more recipes to can. :)

    You beat me to making it! LOL. I got a bit wrapped up with installing some lighting this weekend, and didn't get to canning. Next weekend though, I'm making apple butter and pumpkin butter for sure. I might also make some pear-something if I can still get a flat of good looking pears at Soergels.

    I've seen a few pear-something recipes.  I was thinking about something with those since DH and I both love them. :)I did this apple butter and used the stovetop technique instead of the crockpot.  It only took about 2 hours start to finish (the biggest pain was pressing it through a sieve).  And it's good! :)[url]http://find.myrecipes.com/recipes/recipefinder.dyn?action=displayRecipe&recipe_id=701039[/url]
