Walking through Michaels with the fiance one day he saw these invites and liked them. I figured, hey...why not, they were discontinued, so we got 200 invites for $40. I figure I can dress them up a bit if I feel like it, or even just use parts of them and create my own. We are having his sister in law design the invite since she is a graphic designer and we have 3 professional quality laser jet colored printers at home to do them right here in our living room.
I'm wondering if anyone has used these. My only dislike about them is that you can see the decorative pattern on the inside of the envelope when you close it up. I can live with this since it will be thrown in the garbage, but my MOH apparently thought this was the end of the world as we know it. Now I feel insecure about them. I really don't want to spend a fortune on something that will just get tossed in waste paper basket. We are already 10k over the original budget with everything else...I guess I'm just looking for some support with this, or even suggestions, especially if someone has used any of these kits.
