Other than the Grove City outlet store, is there anywhere else (maybe online) I can get Coach stuff for a reduced price?  My FSIL wants a Coach wristlet or change purse, and I was hoping to find them reduced somewhere.Thanks!

My mom wants a coach bag too, so I went to the Coach website to find the one she wanted and then googled it and found a couple of places with reduced prices.  I was going to wait until I could check out the prices at the outlets near me before I bought though.

Tanger Outlets is definately a good place to try.  If you check the website, sometimes they have 20% off coupons.

Yeah, they had coupons when we were there last for breast cancer - you pay $1 for the coupon and then could use it for 25% off (I think) on any one item at certain stores.  I'm pretty sure Coach was on the list.  I bet it is ending this weekend though.

Is Tanger the newer ones in Washington, PA?  I don't own any designer handbags, but I heard from an associate at Macy's that some of the bags at the Washington outlet store weren't "official" coach purses (whatever that means, she said something about the zippers inside being incorrect?).  She was an old coworker who worked in the purse department so she knew what to look for when she went shopping at the outlet (and this was casual convo with me so she wasn't trying to make a sale or anything).  I'm not sure how much your FSIL cares about that kind of stuff, but I just didn't want you to get her one w/o knowing what to look for and her to be mad b/c it wasn't "official."

Many Coach outlet bags are made specifically for the outlet and weren't sold in normal stores.  If the inside tag has an O on it, it means it's an outlet product.  Coach outlet only sells authentic Coach, but they are slightly different.

Thanks ladies, I wasn't sure exactly what the difference was.  Lenox does something similar with their China.  I knew they weren't knock offs, but I didn't know if a collector would get upset :-)

If the inside tag has an O on it, it means it's an outlet product. Interesting, I never knew that.  I know alot of their stuff is past seasons too, when I was there this past summer they had the same purse I bought 6 months earlier at the Coach store at Ross Park.
