Invite wording - need help

Hey girls....I need your help. Here is my invite wording - should it be "at" instead of "for"??? Do I need to put anything about attire? (we are having a casual dress/party like wedding) Very non-formal

  • Yes, it should say "at" instead of "for." Also, no need to capitalize the D in "I do."

You don't need a period at the end of the first line, as it makes the next line a sentence fragment. And I'd probably not spell out the date, or "O'clock in the evening" as that is usually indicative of a more formal event.

Yes, I am a grammar nerd.

  • I would use '"at" as well instead of "for". That is what we did.
  • As someone already said, the D in do should be lower case. So should eighteenth, two, thousand, ten, seven, and o'clock.

And it is "at" not "for"

Just a few suggestions.  Something about the first two lines seemed clunky.  It is probably because I usually don't do enjambment with rhyming lines.  I have a hard time getting them to read without effort.
