lol - Molly was one of those brides.  Be careful, because I think she's still trying to sell the one she didn't wear. This one is really pretty.  What does your other one look like? (I know you may have posted it in the dress post the other day, but I'm too lazy to look.)

Both are beautiful dresses. However, I thought you wanted a colored one. If that's the case, I'd stick to original choice obviously. Have you ever tried this one on? You might not even like it on you. Just sayin'...

I tried on that dress and almost bought it. It is a heavy dress. I loved it, but my mom did not like it with the black sash I wanted to use. About two months later she saw the photos of Bachelorette Jenn Schefft's wedding and totally got into the black sash thing. *eye roll*Isn't your dress red? I like the red dress a lot!

I DO have a dress to sell. *sigh* Don't buy two dresses unless you are ready to eat the cost of one of them. For serious!! It is pretty impossible to resell a dress.

I think the first dress is really pretty - and I love the red dress thing. :)  I think it's great when brides go against the norm and do what they really want to do, instead of what's expected.

I tried this dress on yesterday while I was with a bridemaids. We had an appointment at Davids and she was goofing off and found this one. When I tried it on, I agree it was definately heavy, but I loved it. I love my first one too. **Says to herself*** "Gotta stay strong first one was perfect for you plus everyone loves it!"

Thanks ladies! Stepmother suggested that since the first dress is so big, I might try to find a version of the second dress to change into for the reception, maybe!

Eh, that's still being a 2 dress bride, except you're actually wearing the other for a little while. Honestly, I don't think "reception dresses" are worth it. My dress wasn't super huge (just basic A-line), but it did have some poof to it. When I first went for my fittings, I started thinking, "how am I going to dance in this, let alone walk?" But I got used to it, and enjoyed the reception just fine with it bustled. Just my  2 cents!

I'm on the opposite side- I'm planning to have a reception dress, but it will be very different (very short, very sparkly, made for dancing) than my wedding gown (romantic and flowy).  When else in life do I get to do a costume change for  a party?  ;)

My biggest regret is not getting a different reception dress.  My wedding dress was heavy.  I wish I would have gotten something lighter and flowier for the reception
