etsy/shopping ladies, help requested

Hi, girls,Do any of you want to shop for me? I'm looking for a birthday gift for a girl who has everything. My friend is turning 25. She lives in lower Manhattan and is an on-air personality for Cosmo Radio on Sirius Satellite. She does a lot of events as well and sometimes travels for work. She's into music, going out, etc. Normal stuff. She pretty much has everything, so I'm looking for creative ideas. I already tried putting "New York City" and "Cosmo" in at etsy and didn't find anything I liked for her. I thought etsy would be a good idea because it is unique stuff that she probably doesn't have already.Any good ideas from you girls? I don't really want to send a check/gift card.

Have you checked the Etsy gift guides? You may find something vintage, personalized, etc that she'd likehttp://www.etsy.com/gift-guides/

What about essential oils, relaxation stuff...new agey stuff to use when stressed and such? Sounds like she's a busy gal.

Like this... http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/aroma/oilkits.htmlOr maybe a (whatever) of the month club. I know there's beer and fruit, but I'm sure there are lots of others--wine, chocolate, etc.

What about a magazine subscription - to something NYC-ish?  I love having multiple magazine subscriptions for when I had a longer commute and was traveling a lot for work.  Or a pass to a museum or something?

I bet your friend who has everything doesn't have a gold squirrel clutch/purse thingy! http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=33391239&ref=fp_feat_13

My sister lives in NYC and also has everything, lol! DH bought her a subscription to the New Yorker, would she be interested in that? It has interesting articles, and lists reviews for all current shows, plays, movies, etc. I won't lie, my sister is definitely hard to shop for! What about some cool jewelry from Etsy? Could you pick something out for her?

I'm checking out the gift guides on etsy. I didn't know there was such a thing!Jenny, I suck at jewelry picking, honestly. I never really wear jewelry myself and my friend is a really good accessorize/dresser person, so I'm intimidated. I am going to look though, as that is something she would be interested in. P.S. You girls picked out a good gift for my mom last time from etsy. I even bought her another gift suggested on here and am saving it for XMas!

Agreed with vintage/unique jewelry.  I think I'm sort of hard to shop for and this is something I always like getting :)What about a unique scarf?  It could be Indian pashmina-style or Hermes-style.  Bonus point for vintage here too :)You could get her unique chocolates.  I love Vosges so so so much:http://www.vosgeschocolate.com/These wine-filled truffles from Carneros are also yummy and lux:http://tinyurl.com/yl339eh
