AW: Woo! excited about hotels!

I posted a little while back with questions about room blocks and hotels and all of your advice was awesome. I just got back from signing a contract and locking in a roomrate and blocking off rooms. I also got to check out several rooms and take a look at a few potential rooms for a "day after breakfast" It was really nice and I am SO excite and am looking forward to staying there. Just had to share. Thanks for your advice. You ladies rock!

    Well I checked out the Marriot, and it was ok the price again was ok.Today however, I went to the Double Tree and it rocked my world. The people were awesome. And the rooms were fantastic. the prise ws better then the marriot and there was no financial obligation for FI and I should the rooms not get filled. Plus the discounted rate for a suite for he and I was obviously a bonus :)

    Nice- I was hoping for a discounted suite for DH and I, but Hampton didn't do that, so we went elsewhere. I heard the Doubletree is really nice.

    I love the DoubleTree!  We stayed there for a friend's wedding a few months ago and it was awesome.And they have the best chocolate chip cookies.  We're staying at one this weekend and I'm thinking about the cookies already.  :)

    I feel so nerdy for being this excited but I am totally excited! Also cause the sales chick was not very salesy she was just really cool. Made it seem very relaxed.

    KR- you are totally right about the cookies she gave me two one for me and one to take home for FI, I already ate mine and it was awesome. His is sitting on the table in front of me, but it is staring at me begging me to eat it.

    And they have the best chocolate chip cookiesWTF?!?! We stayed the Double Tree for Valentine's Day and I never got a cookie :[

    I LOVE the chocolate chip cookies at the Doubletree. Whenever DH stays at a Doubletree I make him bring some home for me.

    Super late to this, but that is exciting!! We stayed at the Crowne Plaza South Hills, and it was fab! We had a breakfast the morning after at the hotel, and it was SO wonderful. It gave us some time to meet up with family and friends before many of them left for traveling home. I really recommend it!
