What to do with my life?

So I started back to work this week so I have been kind of busy but my evening.....I don't know what to do with myself.  The wedding is over now and I passed the CPA exam.  These two things would take up my evenings and weekends.  So.....what am I suppose to do with my time?  What type of hobby's are you into besides wedding planning.  Everyone keeps telling me I should be a coordinator because of the way my wedding turned but I am not ready to jump that deep.  I am trying to figure out what to do with my life.BTW.....I want to update you guys.  I have to get the surgery again :(.  It is schedule for Feb 19th so I have a while to get mentally ready for the amount of pain I am going to be in for that next month and a half!

Ugh, I'm sorry to hear that you need another surgery. I feel that same way you do- now that the wedding is over (well, has been over for nearly 6 months!), what do I do? I don't even know what I did before wedding planning, lol. One of my winter projects is scrapbooking. I'm going to make a wedding scrapbook, as well as one of our honeymoon. And I want to organize some non-pro pics in an album. Plus I'm making both sets of parents an album. So there is still wedding stuff to do! I'd also like to get back into drawing and painting- I love art, looking at it and making it. I have a piece of slate that I'd love to paint on. Other than that, DH and I love just reading, playing games, and finding fun things to do around DC. Hope that gives you some ideas!

I was thinking about getting back into sewing.  I haven't done it since high school so maybe while he is kicking back playing video games, I can do that.

Maybe I should get into this scrapbooking.  I keep hearing everyone talk about it and having parties.  I will investigate!!!  I like video games but we don't like the same games.  He is more of a football guy and Xbox.  I am a PlayStation girl with the sims and grand theft auto.  I hate Xbox because of the size of the controller.  Maybe if my behind will finish healing up, we can get back into the wii!

as was said before, why not knot? hahathere are several stores out there that exsist for people with hobbies, you could just spend an afternoon walking around one of them looking for something new to try. Give it a try and if you like it keep going. If not go back and try something new. (sewing, art, jewelry making, cooking, photography, babymaking, blogging, jogging, etc.)

Or practice babymaking!  ;)  Although that is not something you can do when your husband is playing video games!

I make jewelry, knit and my one of my knottie friends and I were just talking about trying to take a sewing class.  Sorry to hear you have to have surgery.  Once is bad enough, but this is a second surgery?  Blah.  I had foot surgery in August and it was no fun.  Had knee surgery years ago and hope to never repeat either one. Hope all goes well.

Sorry to hear that you have to get surgery again!  That sucks. You could always take a class on something- dance, cooking (try a new ethnic cuisine), pottery, foreign language, knitting, etc.  Or volunteer!  That's another great way to meet new people and also do something that you enjoy and makes you feel good :)
