Photo Strip STD - Envelopes?

Hi!  I'm creating my own Save The Dates that are photo strips like you would get from photo booths.  The size I'm making them is approximately 8 in. x 2 in.  Does anybody know where I could get an envelope that would be a good fit for these?  I've googled and googled and can't find anything, I've even asked Envelopes.com and they said the closest size is 8.5 x 5.5.  My last resort would be to alter my design to make it shorter, but I thought I'd check with you guy to see if you knew somewhere I could get a really skinny & long envelope!

Honestly I would reconsider the size of your STDs.  I was looking to do a regular sized photostrip like yours (8"x2") and found it extremely difficult to track down envelopes.  The previous poster is correct; postage will certainly be more expensive due to the odd size.

My STDs were around 5.5"x2" and were mounted on cardstock.  I used envelopes from staples that were around 6.5"x4.12"

I ended up going with 4x9.5 envelopes. They were too wide but they did the job. I got metallic envelopes that opened on the short end so maybe that distracted ppl from the face that they were too wide ha ha. Anyhow, after everything was said and done, it was such a minute detail that seemed to go unnoticed in the grand scheme of things. Good luck!
