How do Michael's invitations work? HELP!!!

I think I'm a little confused about how invitations from Michael's work. You go to the store and pick out a paper design that you like. They come in sets of 30, so for 150 invites I need to buy multiple boxes. You take them home, feed them into your printer, and print. Is that correct? Do they come with a disc that has a template that you use for the wording and names, or do you just sort of DIY it and hope for the best? If there is a template can you edit the template at all (change the wording for a more nontraditional feel)? Can you chose the style and size of the font? I'm so confused. Thanks for the help!

It comes with directions and specifications about sizing and margins.  You can pick any font, colors, wording you want.  You set those up in word and then print them directly.

I've not done them so I don't know, but I just wanted to ask/point out.....are you inviting 150 guests? If so, keep in mind before you buy that you won't need 150 invitations for 150 guests b/c some of your guests will be sharing an invitation.

Addie, yes I am inviting 150 guests. I worked out that I need approximately 130 invitations, but I was going to buy an extra box just in case.

<div>This seems like a high number of invitations for the number of guests.  We sent out less than 100 invitations for 215 guests.  Do you have lots of single people and few children attending?</div>
