On the template for the guest list that the Knot provides, what does "List (A/B)" mean?

That's for if you created an A or B list. Some people use it, but I've seen those that are openly opposed to having one. Either way it's your call but I would advise not telling people if you have an A/B list in case they get angry for being B-listed.

Also when you export your list to a spreadsheet there's the option to uncheck a box so you don't have to see that column.
