During the ceremony, bridesmaids and groomsmen are suppose to stand in order based on height, with the exception of the honor attendants, right? Shortest closest to the bride and groom. I read that you are also suppose to list them on the program in the order that they walk down the aisle and stand, so you can tell who is who. Bridesmaids are picking their own shoes, so do I need to know all of their heights in their new shoes before ordering programs, or do people do something else?

I've seen weddings where the bridal party is arranged by height, but I highly doubt there is any rule about it. If you want to arrange them that way, you can. I'm not doing anything heightwise, however. Height makes no difference.

That being said, your programs ought to list in the bridal party in the order they walk in, but since height has nothing to do with this you can print the programs without knowing shoe sizes or height - all you have to know is who will walk in first/stand nearest to you.
