Wedding Invitations & Paper

DIY wedding invitations.

Hey,

Questions about wedding invitations. Has anyone ever drawn their wedding invites?
I'd love to do if buy I don't know how people would see it? You know, not being the traditional wedding invite or a proper DIY invite?

Can't find a way of posting a picture of the one I've drawn so I can get an idea of what people would think -any clues?

Thanks!!

Re: DIY wedding invitations.

  • I was just going to draw each one so they're individual.
  • I am printing the text off the computer on ours, but then mounting them and stamping and embossing them myself. So the most time consuming part is going to be putting them all together.  I just need to finalize the wording then I can print them.   I have about 250 on my guest list and about 125 households to send invites too.  If you are going hand draw each one individually, I would suggest at least typing the wording on the computer then drawing the design on the printed page. Just to save on time, unless you are having a wedding of less than 100 people.   I commend you for your creativity, but dont forget how time consuming and how much of a mental strain it might be as well.
I wish you luck! and Congrats on your wedding! :)

What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14
