Our first dance, is Then He Kissed Me by the Crystals. My FI loves old music, and we always commented about it whenever we watched goodfellows. He proposed to me with the song on his ipod in the backround. Yes I know he is a dork. However he wants it to be our first dance, he likes what it says and the story it tells, which I do agree. Also he doesnt care about much of what I pick for the wedding but this he did, I do want him to be involved. When he says he does actually want something I usually dont fight him on it, he doesnt say he wants much so might as well get the three things he does want in our wedding.

Our first dance song is "I Won't Let Go" by Rascal Flatts...it really says a lot about our promise to eachother.

I'm hoping for something classic. I really want "It had to be you" but it's kind of long and slow... maybe if we could have a faster or edited version. I don't want to be just dancing around for five minutes while everyone stares awkwardly

is it sad that as soon as I read "Take Me There", I thought of the Rugrats song?? hahahaha!!!

We were thinking between "God Bless the Broken Road" and "I Won't Let Go", and he told me how he loves the second choice so much more, so I couldn't help but agree! :)

I cried when I first heard that song!!!!

The song my daddy and I are dancing to is "I Loved Her First" by...I think it's either Blake Shelton or Tim McGraw!

My FI for the mother/son dance is "Mama" by Boyz II Men...and his mom is Spanish, and we were lucky to find the song IN SPANISH!!!!! I was so happy!!

OMGOSH! That's awesome!!! Ya'll should start off as a slow song, and then have the DJ cut it and start playing Ain't No Mountain, and do an awesome upbeat dance that will get EVERYONE smiling!!!

We are dancing to the same father daughter song! My dad picked it he loved it so I said yes. He has had no say in anything for the wedding. He wanted a different venue, I picked The Mill, he wanted a different Church, we picked another one. I feel so bad, I keep vetoing what he wants. And he is helping to pay! I feel so bad! But it is what it is. He said he wanted that song, I said of course bc I feel so bad not doing any other thing he wants. He picked a song for him and my mom to dance too also. I dont remember what it is, but it is a country song.

My Fi is doing a dance with is step mom bc his mom is also deceased. Atleast he says he probably is. If he doesnt we wont do anything. He also wants to and will dance with my mom. He really wants to and picked out the song, "Mother in Law" its hysterical. He plays it for her everytime he sees her. Yes its so messed up, but its funny and that is how we are fun loving and can take a joke! I love dancing to "Respect" it sounds like it will be a lot of fun! Maybe have your FI dance with your mom, idk how he would feel about it, but its always an opition if he wants it.
