My flower girl and I both agree that instead of her dropping actual flower petals, we want her to drop the little seeds wrapped in the biodegradable paper; does anyone know where we can find these? Or the proper name for searching for them?

Yes, your venue has to be okay with that. Plus, seeds can be slippery. Need to make sure no one is going to fall if they step on them.
