Christmas Music?

I love Christmas and all.. but I think it's just a wee bit too early to start playing the music.  The past weekend Wish 99.7 played constant Christmas music.  I think they switched back to regular music this morning so I'm guessing it's a weekend only thing till Thanksgiving.  The commercials I can handle but constant music?  Not quite yet.Opinions?  Too early or am I just taking a page from Elisha's scrooge book? haha.

TOO early! I worked in retail for 6 years and having to have christmas decorations up by thanksgiving was enough for me...after thanksgiving I think that's PERFECT! :p

I ADORE Christmas music, but absolutely refuse to listen to it until after Thanksgiving.

Too Early - Looks like Angela is disappointed though. She was so excited when she found that it was on!

Too early! I read a friend's FB status on Friday saying that she was putting up her tree this weekend! WTH? Halloween was just the weekend before!! And FWIW, I still have my Halloween and fall decor up. I will be taking down the Halloween stuff tonight, but the fall flowers and such will stay until December!

Too early, although I haven't heard any yet. I need to get through fall & Thanksgiving first, I feel like I haven't had a chance to enjoy it and we're moving on to the next holiday already.

Baaah    hum bug;)Way to early if you ask me. I just spent a little time walking around Target and a couple other stores looking for a new table cloth or some sort of Thanksgiving or Fall like at the least runner for the table. NADA all christmas. Now a little part of my non-scrooge came out and thought some of the stuff was pretty, but then I came back to reality when I heard a Christmas song and realized it's not even thanksgiving yet!

I love Christmas music, but I agree that it is a bit too early!  The day after Thanksgiving is fair game, in my opinion :)

I think its WAAAAY too early. At work we put our Xmas decor up on Nov 1, and the music started then too. Its mixed in with regular music too but mostly Xmas. Its disgusting. Ugh.

I think it's too early too. Definitely ok with day after Turkey day though. Speaking of scrooge, this year, b/c of wedding/hm, I'm not putting up a tree or decorating. We leave from pgh Dec 18 (or the 23rd, depending on my job) and return Jan 13...what's the point!

I agree, way too early (and it seemed like Wish was only playing the crappy music, if they want to play good songs I'll listen, but when it's utter crap- Christmas Day is too early IMO :-P).  Thanksgiving is also the line for me.

I agree that it's too early as well! Has everyone forgotten about Thanksgiving?!

Way to early!  There's barely anytime to breathe between Halloween and Thanksgiving as it is without jamming Xmas down our throats!  I deicded at work today I'm leaving up my fall bulliten board and just switching to a Christmas one in a few weeks, because there is no time for a turkey day one....too many holidays in a little space!

It might be a little early.  But I plan on decorating for Christmas before Thanksgiving too.  :P

Nah, not a Scrooge--just someone who also wants to celebrate Thanksgiving in its own right, and who thinks Christmas music is made that much more special by limiting it to a particular time of year. For me, it really waters things down if I listen to the music too early--then it loses some of its meaning and "specialness" for me.
