Reception Songs!

I thought choosing songs for the reception would be the easy part.. WRONG! My DJ wants a list of the following songs and I have NO IDEA!! Any opinions would be highly appreciated!

Wedding Party dance song? (What even is this?!)
Mother/Groom dance song? (She didn't raise him, but they have recently grown closer)
Cake cutting song? (No clue!)
Garter Removal song?
Garter Toss song?
Last dance song?

We aren't doing a wedding party dance. FI isn't sure if he wants a mother/son dance but I think she might tease him into it.

I didn't realize there should be a cake cutting song. Weird!

Not doing garter or boquet toss either. Not sure if we'll do a "last dance" or not.

Guess I'm not much help.

This is the link to my DJ for a music request thing. If you go to it and click "Most Requested" then "Select a List," you can find popular songs for things like Cake Cutting and Father Daughter. (If it makes you select a city, just choose Cincinnati.) Hope it helps!

My DJ provided us a list of top 50 hits from now until early 50's see if they have that if not I can email you mine there are tons of songs and even suggestive ones for bridal party etc

I'm not much of help with picking specific songs since we're not doing any other those things you listed besides a cake cutting, but I always recommend just picking your favorite love songs.  Don't try to make what's "normally" done or what people expect- pick songs of an appropriate tempo that you and/or FI really love.  

For our cake cutting we're using one of my recordings of "This Can't Be Love" because it's light, cute, and one of my favorite fun love songs.  If you go my website I think you can hear it under the "piano/vocal duo act" playlist.  You have to click the next button a couple of times to hear it.  It has nothing to do with cake or sweets, but it's a cute love song.  http://melissablasek.net/music-video.html
