Florist Consultation Pt. 2

Well FI and I met with another florist today which makes this florist number 2. I really loved this one more than the first one I had met with and it's also a plus that her company did the flowers for Blake Shelton and Miranda Lamberts wedding... But the down side is that she was over about 1000 from what we originally wanted to spend on our flowers. I am thinking about sucking it up a paying the extra 1000 since we have came in under budget on everything else. So I guess you can say its a possible check?

It depends what's important to you.  Flowers were a money priority for me, so I didn't mind spending a chunk of money on it.  Loving the florist is important, so if you do and you think they're going to create the perfect flowers for you, go for it.

I liked my 2nd consultant for flowers better too. He came in over budget by 150 which was doable. If you've come under for everything else and don't mind splurging on flowers go for it. It's your wedding day our biggest splurge was photographer and videographer but after much thought and budget restructuring were making it work. I always joke it's ok we'll live in box 101 on the corner lol if we couldn't spin it I wouldn't do it. I refuse to go into debt for the wedding we either find way pay wedding in full or find way cut corners but were doing it so far!

I agree with PP. Its definitely about what is important to you. It helps that you've come in under budget on other areas. I came in over budget on so many areas, that this was one I was willing to personally cut.

Im meeting with my 2nd florist on Weds. Hopefully I'll be able to get some (slightly) better pricing on what I need done.
