When do you pass out the WP and family gifts?  Rehearsal dinner, day of, or after the wedding?

I planned on doing mine at the rehearsal dinner but I don't want to put everyone on the spot when they are opening their gifts. I may do it the morning of the wedding when we all meet up.

I am planning on doing it at the rehearsal dinner. It worked well for my sister's wedding. I am afraid the day of will be too crazy.

I'm doing it at my shower. I don't want to take the stuff with me (our wedding is out of state).

All of my bridesmaids are local, so I am planning a luncheon for them. I am also including his mother, as well as two grandmothers who are local. I plan to give them their gifts then.

Thanks everyone!  I think i'm going to do most of them at the rehearsal dinner, the only ones i'll wait on are my grandmother and my stepmother.  My grandmother paid for my dress so i bought her a gift (plus we are extremely close), but my fi didn't buy his grandma a gift so i don't want to do that in front of everyone.  My stepmother is helping me make quite a bit of stuff for the wedding but honestly I can't stand my stepfather and I didn't get him a gift so i'll probably give my stepmother her gift in private somehow.
