  • I had wanted to do the ceremony at 3pm but everyone is telling me that it's too late considering that I'd like to do location pictures. They think that the reception will start late especially after doing a receiving line.

  • We are planning for a 2:00 ceremony. We were hoping for it to be a little later, but our church only has so many options. The next time available at the church would have been 6:30, and this would make for a late reception. There will be lots of kids running around, so we thought that earlier would suit everyone better. Our pictures will be at the church and at the reception venue, and the reception will probably start at 5:00 (maybe a cocktail hour at 4:00).

  • We are planning a 5:30pm ceremony, cocktail hour at 6, grand entrance around 7 and probably dinner shortly thereafter. Haven't quite figured out the entire timeline yet, but I know the ceremony will be at 5:30 =)
  • We're doing our first-look & some pictures around 4-4:30.  Ceremony is at 5:30.  We'll do a few more pictures after.  Then the reception from 6-11.  



  • We will be doing our first look photos at 3:30 till about 4:00... Then ceremony will start at 5, more pictures after that of course, then cocktail hr will start at 6, reception from 7-12. As far as the little details in between not to sure yet... I am sure I will discuss this on Saturday with my coordinator...

  • Ours will start at 7, we have to be out at 11 and our rental time is only for 6 hours (the 2 hours before the ceremony will be spent taking formal pics). Also, the Ceremony & Reception will be in the same room- so don't need to factor time to get from one place to another.

    I've kind of figured out a timeline, but of course nothing set in stone other than our rental time.

  • My ceremony will start at 6, cocktail hour 6:30-7:30, then grand entrance and dinner. 

    I am toying with first look pictures, not sure yet though!

  • Mine is 1:30 because it's in a Catholic Church. After the ceremony we'll be taking picturse and the wedding party will ride around a trolley! Cocktail hour starts at 5, seating for dinner at 6, speeches, then dinner served around 7.
  • If we go with our current #1 venue, our ceremony will be around 5:30. We'll do pictures off-site in the afternoon, and a few more on-site after. Dinner will probably be around 6:30 depending on how long our ceremony is.

  • Our ceremony is probably going to be at 3 and our cocktail hour part of our reception should start at 5 or 6. We haven't decided where to have the ceremony yet, but it'll probably be at least a 15 minute drive between the two. Our reception opens the room a half hour before cocktail hour, plus the first floor is a bar/restaurant with game tables and stuff, so there shouldn't be much waiting in between (I hope!).

  • I thought I had our timeline pretty much figured out till FI through a curve ball at me and I handed him the bridal binder :). So as far as I know, I know the reception,  if he sticks with the location I thought we decided on, will begin at 7 cocktail hour form 6-7.

  • our ceremony will be at 1:30, cocktail hour will be at 4:30, dinner at 6 and dancing until  2 am (that's when we have to be out and I LOVE TO DANCE) so i plan on going right until the end :)
  • I'm thinking that the photographer will come to our suite around 2:30 to take "getting ready" pictures.  Then we'll go out to the beach to take pictures at 3 and I'm hoping to be back at the venue by 4:30.  Ceremony starts at 5:30. Our cocktail hour is at 6 (I'm not doing anymore pictures then- I really want to participate in the cocktail hour) and reception, with dinner at the beginning, will start at 7.

  • Our ceremony will start at 4:30 and probably end around 5 at most. Then cocktail hour will follow and will last until 6. Right after cocktail hour we will start the reception and that will end at 9:30.
