Nephew!

So I thought it appropriate to update you ladies about my nephew since I had asked for thoughts and prayers during his surgeries.

He has gone home and is no longer in the hospital which is great news. He is still hooked up to tubes and wires throughout the day but is able to be in the home setting. He will need to go back to the hospital in about 2 months for another surgery hopefully to reconnect his small bowel to the intestines so that he can eat real food. He is still on only IV fluids that have to be re-drained out of tubes every 2 hours.

But the doctors are totally impressed with how well he is doing and he is up to 14 pounds! So great!

    I'm so happy to hear he is home and doing well. A similar thing happened to a friend's daughter, it took over 9 months for her to be able to leave the hospital, but is done perfectly healthy.
