**Tux, Suit, or Vest only**

I'm not sure what to do.. My fiance' isn't big into dressing up for anything. Would it be ok for him just to wear a vest, or it the suit or tux a MUST for a wedding? i need some input, please! thanks

It depends what type of wedding you are having. If your having a black tie type of wedding then I would say tux. If you want a more casual type wedding you can't go wrong with a suit or just wearing the vest.

Yea I agree with the formality of your wedding being the determining factor. We're going with tuxes for the guys since my BMs are wearing floor length, black dresses- seemed kind of odd to go with something more casual, KWIM?

I think just a vest is ok! That's what we plan to do since it is a morning wedding in Vegas!

If it's not black tie, I'd skip the tux.  For our wedding we're doing suits, since it's at 4pm and my BMs are wearing knee-length purple dresses.  As for suit vs vest, that's you and your FI's decision.

I had suggested to FI to do vest only, we have an outdoor ceremony and the BM's are wearing knee length dresses but he is insisting on wearing the whole suit.

I think it just depends on how formal your wedding is.

we are doing a tan suit pants with matching vest and a tie i made him. I'm all about the casual and that fits our personalities better.
