Where in Michaels did you find the single piece of vellum?  I need a piece to re do my unity candle (I hate how it turned out) and I love yours.  I saw a pack of vellum for $25, but I'm too cheap.  lol.

It was in the row with all the single sheets of scrapbook paper. I was too cheep as well to buy a whole pack! haha

What kind of glue did you use to attach all this to the candle?  As you can see from my bio I have the silver stuff already but the hot glue I used to attach it made the candle all lumpy...it was a mess.

I got a box of "Zots" from Joann Frabrics... I just used two of them in the back of the candle on the seam of the velum to attach it. They also worked to secure the ribbon and silver beading as well. I love ZOTS!
